    Ordering products from U-Shop

    U-Shop provides five methods of placing orders

    • Online secure ordering
      • The U-Shop Websites provide a secure ordering process.
      • Select add items on each product to add it to the shopping cart
      • When the selection of items is complete go to the sopping cart page
        • Select the cart symbol on the mini cart at the top of the page
        • Or select Cart from the top menu
      • Below are instuction for how to check out on line.
      • During the check out process the cost of freight will be calculated
        • Fright costs will determined before the order is processed
    • Phone ordering
      • U-Shop is very happy to take phone orders.
      • Our staff are available during normal shop hours

      • Drop into the store to place an order either for store pickup or delivery

      • Please include clear order and contact details
        • If cheque are included ensure they are marked Not Negotiable and made out to U-Shop Pty Limited
        • Payment can be made via direct deposit or PAYPAL request for money

     

    Shipping and handling charge

    U-Shop provides a range of different shipping and handling methods from a group of providers.

    • Pick up from our Sydney store - no charge
    • Australia post - Red satchels and Express satchels
    • Courier service - Fully tracked with or without insurance

    Due to the size of some of our products it is not possible to have a flat rate for shipping and handling. To minimise the cost of shipping and handling each order is calculated individually.

    • All shipping is charged on cubic weight basis ex Sydney
      • Cubic weight is a standard method couriers use to determine their charges
      • All products have a cubic weight figure
      • During the checkout process cubic weight of all products in the shiopping cart are added up
      • The shipping address post code is used to find all possible shipping methods
      • If mutliple methods are available for the postcode and products ordered a drop down list will be provided
        • The list will be sorted from the lowest cost to the highest
        • Pick up from store will be the lowest if available for your postcode
      • Country, state and a valid post code must be provided in Australia for a rate to appear

     

    Paying for orders from U-Shop

    U-Shop provides a range of different payment methods for orders.

    • Online secure credit card payments provided using PayPal secure processing system
      • Note: You do not need to have a PayPal account and do not need to create a PayPal account to use this service
    • Online payment via PayPal account using either credit card or bank transfer
    • Credit card payment by phoning your details on 02 9283 9199 or 1300 767 994
      • Note: Due to the high rate of credit card fraud U-Shop may not take the credit card over the phone
      • U-Shop may send a PayPal reuest for money instead
    • Direct deposit to National Australia Bank account BSB # 082183 Account # 86657 9500
    • Cheque mailed to Shop 2, Ground Floor, 255 Elizabeth Street, Sydney, NSW 2000
      • Note: Cheques must clear before goods are shipped
    • PayPal request and send money
      • U-Shop can send a request for money to you provided email address
      • Send money via paypal using our PayPal email address "paypal@u-shop.com.au"

     

    How to complete your order via the shopping cart.

    On the shopping cart page follow the instructions throught the six steps

    • Step 1 - Order Details
      • Confirm the item or items are what you require, you can delete or change quantities of items selected.
      • Add any special instrcutions and  a discount coupon code if you have one
      • Select "Proceed to final check out" (the order is not comitteded at this stage)
    • Step 2 - Address
      • Enter contact details and billing address
      • U-Shop websites require a user account to allow online ordering. Enter a username and password.
      • Email address is required for online orders
      • If shipping address is different to the billing address select the "Provide a Different Ship To Address"
      • Otherwise select "Continue" to move to the next step (the order is not comitteded at this stage)
    • Step 3 - Ship To Address
      • Enter ship to address or if an exisiting customer select a previuously created address
      • You can select the check box to use the same address as the billing address
    • Step 4 - Shipping method
      • U-Shop provides a range of different shipping and handling methods from a group of providers.

        • There are no shipping services currently available by that shipping company. Please select a different shipping company in the [Rates By] dropdown menu
      • Door to Door service will be provided by either courier or Australia Post service.
      • NOTE: If you provide insufficient delivery details or you are not at home, you may be asked to pay a redelivery fee
        • The redelivery fee is defined by the courier company or Australia Post and typically ranges from $10 to the original shipping fee charged
        • Redelivery may cause shipping times to be delayed by up to four times the normal transit time
      • Transit times shown are indictive only and may vary during peak periods eg. Christmas
      • Transit time is estimated in number of days after the goods have been despatched
      • Items in stock generally despatch within 4 working days
      • The stock availability data is updated once each business day
        • Due to the volume of orders it is possible that the item was sold prior to your order arriving
        • If the item is not available you will be notified as soon as possible
      • For URGENT deliveries or GUARANTEED availability it is recommended that you phone through and speak to our staff before placing your order
      • Orders paid by Cheque, Money order or PayPal eCheque will only be despatched once the money has cleared
      • Select "Continue" to move to the next step (the order is not comitteded at this stage)
    • Step 5 - Address and Product Totals
      • Check all the details are correct then
      • Select "Continue" to move to the next step (the order is not comitteded at this stage)
    • Step 6 - Pay and submit order
